Privacy Policy

We collect what we need to run CleanKeto well, and try to keep it at that. This explains what that is, how we use it, and where it goes. "We," "us," and "our" mean Pure Quality Nutrition LLC, the company behind CleanKeto; "the Service" means the CleanKeto website and app.

What we collect

When you create an account, we get your email address and display name. Sign in with Google instead, and that comes with your email and basic profile info.

Health data is entirely optional. If you choose to enter things like weight, glucose, blood pressure, medications, or health conditions, we encrypt it, both moving and at rest, and use it to power features like For You scoring and AdaptIQ. You never have to enter any of it to use the Free plan.

We also collect anonymous usage data, page views and which features get used, through Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics, to understand what is working and what is not.

Payments run through Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

How we use it

We use your information to run the app itself (scoring food, building meal plans), to personalize it to you (adjusting scores to your health profile when AdaptIQ is on), to reach you about your account or support, and to catch fraud or abuse.

How AI fits in

Coach, Chef, and the PQ Score engine run on AI models from Gemini and OpenAI. When you use them, we send the relevant input, an ingredient list, your question, to the provider, and sometimes a short piece of context if it matters to the answer (say, that you have flagged a nut allergy). We do not use your health data to train anyone's public AI models. Ever.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your data. The only sharing that happens is with the vendors we need to actually run the Service: hosting, database, analytics, payment processing. If the law requires us to disclose something, we will.

How we protect it

Data in transit is encrypted (TLS/SSL); sensitive fields are encrypted at rest in the database too. That said, no system connected to the internet is ever perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise.

Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your data whenever you want. Deleting your account from Settings removes it, and everything tied to it.

Kids

CleanKeto is built for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
